 By boat More and more possibilities are starting to appear for getting to know Berlin from the water. Getting to know Berlin by boat is not only surprising, because of the different perspective, but also environment friendly and relaxing. There are already 25 different routes in the city as well as in the surrounding waters, like the Havel-Oder-Wasserstrasse, the Teltowkanaal and the Teupitzer See. There are tours of 1 hour, but also daytours to Brandenburg or rivercruises. Another possibility is a thematic tour, for example a castletour from the Wannsee through the Havel to Cecilienhof. This tour brings you along all well-known places in Berlin and an English and German speaking guide will tell you some facts about all of them. The tour takes 3,5 hours and the tickets cost €15,50 p.p.
Departure: Jannowitzbrücke, daily at 10.00 and 14.00. Schloßbrücke / Bonhoeffer Ufer, daily at 10.00, 13.50 and 14.50.
Boat tour 6: Wannsee - Werder You can take this tour from April 9th – September 21st. This tour shows you the beautiful landscape of Berlin and Potsdam while you are on your way to the island of Werder. The island Welder is well-known for its gorgeous fruit trees in the spring. The tour takes 6 hours and the tickets cost €14,- p.p.
